Is Wildmetrics secure?
How we safeguard your data.
At Wild Audience we take data security extremely seriously. We know that cyber attacks are real. We also know that the data you share with Wildmetrics is your data. This is why protecting our customer data is a key value at Wild Audience. This document explains how we approach data security.
Here's what we do to protect your privacy.
- 1.We only collect what we need to provide reports to you. Most of that information probably won't be interesting to thieves.
- 2.You are in control of your data which means you can always email us to request or delete your data.
- 3.We encrypt data that is used to identify you or your contacts. Examples are email addresses or API keys.
- 4.We will never sell your data because it's your data.
GDPR: Wild Audience and all our third-party providers are compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.
Email addresses: We store email addresses of your contacts always encrypted in our data base.
Passwords: Your password is encrypted and never stored in our database in a readable/unencrypted format. We use auth0 to securely manage your login data. You are responsible for choosing a strong password and keeping it secret.
Data deletion: We only keep data in our databases for paying customers. Data from expired trial accounts or churned customers will automatically be deleted after 90 days.
We will only access your Wildmetrics account to provide support to you, in the case of suspicious account activity or if we suspect the Wild Audience terms of service are being violated.
All team members use Dashlane as a password manager and double verification where possible. We also host frequent security trainings for team members and follow strict processes & documentation to guarantee best practices.
