Your reports inside Wildmetrics
The first question you probably have is "how do we calculate conversions?" and that's an important question. We currently use an "open attribution" meaning that we attribute conversions to emails that first got opened by a person and then this person purchased something. We use the email address as the unique identifier.
Clarification:
If you send an email to a contact and that person opens that email and then later purchases something within the selected conversion window and time range, then we attribute the conversion to the email that was sent last before the purchase.
If a contact opens multiple emails, we attribute the conversion to the email that was opened last before the purchase time.
A purchase happens either if there is a purchase transaction in your payment provider (like Stripe) or if you use Wildmetrics without a payment provider then we use your customer segment.
At the top of the page you can select your desired time range. We will only show emails that have conversions within the selected time period.

This means that the email open timestamp and the purchase timestamp both have happened within the selected time period.
If a contact opens an email within the selected time period but purchases after the selected time period, we won't show this conversion.
Remember:
If a contact opens an email within the selected time period but purchases after the selected time period, we won't show this conversion.
The conversion window is the amount of time between the email open event and the purchase event. We currently offer three different conversion windows: 7, 30 & unlimited.

Example:
If you choose conversion window 30 for example, then this means that after a contact opens an email, no more than 30 days can pass until the same contact needs to purchase.
Unlimited means that if a contact opens an email and then purchases something anytime after, we count it as a conversion. Remember that we will attribute the conversion to the email opened last before the purchase.
